Reporting Services Questions
Doesn't Reporting Services include functionality to print labels?
No. Not even in their latest version and I wouldn't look for it anytime
soon.
Below is an excerpt from a recent Microsoft Q and A Webcast
on RS for 2005:
Susan Asked: Will RS 2005 support the creation of mailing labels better
than RS 2000?
*Answered:* We haven't made any changes in this area.
That's a useless answer. Well it does answer the question, but I'm sure
it wasn't what Susan wanted to hear. Susan, if you are out there, here
is a better answer: The ReportPax Label templates will allow you to
easily create and print your mailing labels. The templates are what
Microsoft should of included in Reporting Services.
